By placing an order with framingsupplies.com you have agreed to the conditions listed below. These conditions apply to all framingsupplies.com internet and telephone orders including those offered through framingsupplies-shop.com and all related sites. All prices and policies are subject to change without notice.
1) Shipping Information
Most packages ship within 24 hours. Orders are processed and packaged based on our "first in/first out" fulfillment system. Next Day Air and 2nd Day Air orders are also subject to our "first in/first out" fulfillment system. If we receive a 2nd Day Air order after 4:00pm EST, you may not receive the order in two days. Please call us with any questions regarding rush orders. Orders are packaged and shipped carefully just for you.
All items in stock are shipped to you. Any item NOT in stock is canceled and you should reorder at a later date. Shipping charges are determined directly from the carrier based on the weight of the items ordered and the destination location.
All oversized or overweight items will ship using a motor freight line. This can be more expensive as extra fees may be charged by the carrier. framingsupplies.com is not liable for damage or loss in transit. If this should happen, the shipment must NOT be accepted until the transportation company makes note on the bill or delivery receipt indicating the extent of damage or shortage. All motor freight claims must be filed directly by the customer.
2) Special Requirements and/or Minimums for Some Products
Chop frame orders: All frame orders are considered custom orders and are non-returnable. We allow for the industry standard of 1/8" on the cutting allowance. You assemble and join the frames. Minimum length of a frame will be 5".
Length molding orders: There is a 50 foot minimum for wood and/or aluminum molding. The moldings may be assorted but must be ordered in increments of 10 feet. Length molding can ship one of two ways: 1) it can ship in full length sticks (8-12 feet) and go motor freight or 2) we will make one cut in the molding (in half, 6' and remainder or 5' and remainder) and ship FedEx.
Matboard: Must be ordered in increments of 25 sheets or the equivalent of 25 sheets. Please see the Ordering link on our website for specific details. We must completely fill the specially designed shipping carton to insure that your mat board arrives to you in the best condition. Because the size of mat board is considered an oversized package by FedEx, it is packaged and shipped separately. If your order includes frames or other supplies we will process two separate tickets with two separate shipping charges.
3) Shortages, Errors, Warranty and/or Returns
General Merchandise: Merchandise that is unused and in resalable condition is acceptable for return within 30 days from date of purchase and is subject to a restocking fee. If the error was made by us, please call us for a correction within 5 days of receiving your order for correction, credit or refund. All return orders must be accompanied by an RMA which will be issued from framingsupplies.com and is valid for 10 days. No returns will be accepted without an RMA number. All custom frame orders, books and videos are non-returnable. Some manufacturers want the item sent directly to them and some want the item returned to us. In all cases (return or warranty item) it is your responsibility for the transportation to get the item to the proper location.
Machinery: If you buy a machine from us, and after installation and trying it, the machine does not work out for your application, you may return the machine with the following stipulations: The machine is now a "Used" machine and can not be sold as "New." Credit will be given accordingly. The machine is subject to a restocking fee and possible refurbising fee if deemed necessary. All manuals, parts, hoses, etc. must be returned with the machine. You will not receive full credit on a machine that was purchased and returned. You will be responsible for all transportation costs (including insurance) associated with the return of the machine.
4) Acceptable methods of payment
All orders must be paid in full before the order will ship from our warehouse. Major credit cards are accepted. Payment may also be made by wire transfer, check, bank check or money order. Allow 2 weeks for checks other than bank checks or US Postal money orders to clear.
